I am a holder of a Bachelor of Education Degree and I have had more than 25 years as an English Language teacher. I have taught in diverse environments where I learnt the essence of teamwork, discipline and putting learners first. Through the years, I have learnt what it means to empathise and the role of educators to develop learners holistically. Not only have I taught in high schools in different countries but have also lectured a number of subjects including Business English, Communication, Educational Psychology, Entrepreneurship and Public Finance at tertiary institutions. I am a results-oriented educator and copy-editor who is willing to learn. I have held several responsibilities including setting examinations, marking Ordinary Level English Language at national level, marking Day Care Communication, Tourism Communication and Public Finance. In order to enhance my communication and English Language skills I pursued a copy-editing certificate programme with the University of Cape Town which I successfully completed. The extra-curricular activities that I have engaged in include coaching athletics teams and mentoring debating and public-speaking teams that have competed at national platforms.
