About me I've gained experience in variety of sectors such as online gambling, automation software, gaming & property portals, automated online business process flow systems, corporate intranet & extra-nets for large multinational corporate, advertising agencies, production houses locally in South Africa as well as internationally such as Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, United States and South Korea. What do I want from my next job? I am an internet professional, consultant and internet application developer and also armed to the teeth with digital design skills in web design, wireframes, posters, banners and am quite comfortable designing for digital new media. As a web developer, I am competent to complete a range of new media, design and internet application development solutions. I have been involved in the industry since April 1998 and my experience and expertise both internationally and locally spans across multiple domains and industries. Much of my background has involved working/consulting for smaller companies and teams in which I had to be an 'all-rounder' - performing multiple roles in one. I've specialized in developing mission-critical web applications: by using open source technologies and implementing scale-able solutions I help reduce maintenance costs, increase business flexibility, streamline business functions and not only 'just' enable my active projects to gain online exposure, I design their unique personal strategy to build, develop and re-enforce their brands online. I would like to fill a permanent position in which I am able to apply my skills and experience to make a meaningful impact within the company I join next. I am well suited to perform a variety of roles including developing using PHP, Wordpress and MySQL, working with SQL/SQL queries within a database development/administration position, UI Design, and in Product Management and Scrum. I would be most keen on learning more about JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.JS and Node.JS as my exposure has been regrettably limited.
