I am a 23 year old male residing in Durban. Currently, I have just completed my final year of studies, obtaining a degree in Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (Westville campus). Within this program I have majored in Economics and Supply Chain Management. I had also completed first level and second level accounting modules however due to university protocol I was unable to change my degree to Accounting. I did complete 1 year pastel as well. I was currently employed at Woolworths in Gateway as a sales assistant as well as a till operator. I had been employed at Market Demand Pty Ltd for a duration of approximately one month (during my school holidays) as a data capturer. During this period, I have acquired significant communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills also a broad computer literacy knowledge which I feel will be beneficial in my next employment. My aspirations are to become an asset to any organization I may work for while consistently developing my knowledge and improving myself. I personally believe that this graduate program is an excellent opportunity to develop my skills further and gain relevant experience in the industry. I believe that I am a quick learner and I don’t give up easily when I am faced with difficult challenges. I like to think of myself as a cool-headed person who can keep his wits about being under pressure. I am a peoples person and enjoy interacting with people. I also have commercial awareness and the adaptability in different working environments. I am career driven and hungry for an opportunity to showcase my skills and talents.
