I'm a qualified sound engineer who graduated in 2018 at CityVarsity Johannesburg (Advanced Diploma in Sound Engineering) but I have been freelancing for almost three years now. I'm a self-motivated, ambitious, practical, reliable, creative and hardworking individual that works well in a functional unit. I value teamwork, effective communication and I'm not afraid of responsibility. I am skilled at operating both analogue and digital mixing consoles. I have experience of setting up small to medium-sized PA setups in addition to recording various bands live at shows and festivals as well as in studio. I'm also well-versed at operating multiple industry-standard software namely Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason and Ableton. I am also skilled at recording and editing sound on location as well as during the post production process. I am always open to learning new things like the company's inventory, monitor specs, different ways of troubleshooting problems e.g. how to eliminate feedback, standing waves, cable noise, etc.
