I am a skilled professional possessing knowledge in environmental conservation and rehabilitation. I gained this knowledge conducting environmental impact assessments mainly for mining projects. In these assessments I assessed the impact a proposed project would have on the environment which included its waste products. In the reports I made recommendations on minimising and mitigating the waste products of the project according the standards of the law. I have spent thousands of hours compiling environmental reports according to environmental regulations and standards. This has given me technical writing skills as well as an ability to pay extreme attention to detail. I have extensively used and expanded my skills in GIS (ArcGIS in particular) creating maps according to the assigned parameters. I have knowledge in modelling and analysing real world data. My abilities include proficient computer skills, an ability to grasps concepts quickly, to organize disorder, to analyse and solve problems, be meticulous, work alone or in groups and be expedient where need be. I am well versed with anything having to do with computers, whether software or hardware. Atop the list is Microsoft Office. I am looking to be challenged and utilize my skills in a position where my skills will be fully maximized and be forced to improve. I have gained important experience by working as an ICT Lab Assistant in the Computer labs since 2017(University of the Free State), where my theoretical learning has been put to the test and expanded upon.
