I have an attained Associate Actuary professional certification since 2004 from the Institute of Actuaries in London, U.K.; and have a Bachelors and Honours degree in Business Science (Actuarial Science) from U.C.T. in 2003. Currently in my final year of my Master's degree in Inclusive Innovation at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town (UCT). I like to think myself an independent self-starter and skilled organiser, while still being a good team-player. As the current Product Owner of the insurance products of one of SA's largest insurer's (under R5000) range, and my experience as Finance Owner/Expert in various companies over the years, I bring depth of understanding the financial industry and its processes for proven success. My work spans companies and business units of various sizes and profitability, and projects and impacts that drive them to success or improvement. With around 16 years of experience in finance, reporting, data analysis, product and system developments, I seek to continue to contribute to the environment I work in in a positive and determined way.
