I am Certified Professional Accountant with the ICBA. I am a qualified Certified Technical Financial Accountant. I am a member of the South African Institute of Tax Professionals and hold the designation of Tax Technician (SA). I have experience in the full accounting function from processing entries to preparing the financial reports for executive level. I also have experience preparing financial statements according to the IFRS framework. My Skills: Budgeting - I have experience creating financial models to use for the budgeting process. I have also been involved in consolidating budgets into the company budget. Cash flow forecasts - I have created and used templates for the forecast of cash flows on both daily and weekly basis. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills - I understand most formulas and can use these to automate the pulling of information from a database. Accounting - I am able to perform all accounting functions. Reporting - I understand the requirements of IFRS and are able to use these during the financial reporting of an entity. I use MS Excel for management reporting and I have prepared reports for executive level. Taxation - I am familiar with all the tax requirements and ensure compliance. Innovation - I always look at processes and how these can be improved to be more efficient and effective. Leadership - I believe that staff should be treated with respect and that people need to grow. I encourage staff to invest in themselves and improve their skills. Great communication skills - I am able to communicate from operations to executive level.
