I am a Medical scientist who has volunteered and worked for numerous , health science labs requiring the same fundamental scientific skills with additional individual tasks. The labs I have worked in include a post graduate pharmaceutical research unit based at UKZN under the supervision of Prof Essack, where I assumed duties as a research assistant my duties continued even after I had found placement else where as a student who was on maternity leave I had assisted prior needed to complete her PhD. I then moved to Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, where I was NRF intern to Prof Raveen Parboosing. Here I gathered principles and learnt viral cell culture. I later on was introduced to diagnostic work due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic that struck our shores earlier last year. I as of February I have been shifted to a more researching role assisting the pathologists at NHLS with research based work. I have worked at Urban degree, a clothing brand then located at gateway mall .Here i worked through out my honours as a product specialist. I was given the opportunity to restock the internal and later external stock rooms, and supervised product/stock related duties. I have been a tutor at D.U.T ML Sultana, as part of the Saturday tutorial Education Program S.T.E.P .
