As a recent Media Communications and Journalism graduate from Monash South Africa, I have acquired public relations and video editing, marketing, consulting, and market research skills. I strategically focused my coursework in the following areas: • Interpersonal, Corporate & Development Communication • Public Relations: Campaigns and Events/The Media & Work-Integrated • Research Fundamentals • Managing Communication in Multicultural Organisations • Issues, Crises and Social Responsibility Management • Journalism: An Online and Video Perspectives Using my knowledge of the above, my group and I were tasked with planning, designing, and implementing a food drive campaign for a local children’s home - Bethany House, in Krugersdorp that resulted in my team and I reaching targets way higher than the ones we had set for ourselves.
