I currently practice as an Independent/External Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) and I am registered as an External SDF with the HWSETA, FASSET, merSETA and MICT SETA. My previous work experience lies in successfully consulting with and managing the learning and development needs of over 2,000 internal customers across diverse disciplines and departments at a large public health entity for 9 years. In my capacity as the National Non-Technical Training Manager and National Skills Development Facilitator, I demonstrated a keen ability to consistently ensure the organisation’s compliance in terms of the relevant skills development and labour legislation for meeting defined strategic objectives, while achieving or exceeding these goals in a cost-effective manner. I was also a member of the Employment Equity, Skills Development and Transformation Committee for 9 years and currently a member of the Association for Skills Development in South Africa (ASDSA). I have completed a Short Learning Programme in Human Resources Management and Training and was awarded the OD-ETDP National Certificate (Occupationally-Directed Education, Training and Development Practices) at NQF Level 6 by the ETDP SETA to enhance my career path, qualifications and skills as a training practitioner. I also previously worked in the training provider industry for 10 years as a training programmes/project manager, operations manager and course developer/ training manager and researched, created and managed a large portfolio of short courses for the various training providers. As a Skills Development Facilitator (SDF), I am seeking opportunities to provide an impactful education, training and development solution for your organisation by: • Ensuring organisational compliance with relevant skills development and labour legislation • Advising on the development and implementation of a Skills Audit, Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) • Serving as a project administrator of relevant graduate programmes, internships, learnerships and skills programmes • Administering and reporting of PIVOTAL and Non-PIVOTAL interventions in monthly reports and the Annual Training Report (ATR) • Preparing and submitting annual grant applications to SETAs and administering quarterly grant refund payments • Overseeing the annual and monthly training budget • Sourcing appropriate accredited training providers • Managing the bursary funding cycle • Representing the organisation at SETA stakeholder forums • Coordinating the formation and functioning of the training committee and EE forum
