I am a professional Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in non-profit organizations and private practice, with a special focus on HIV/AIDS, health research, men's health, employee wellness, disability, and assisting individuals and families in coping with life-changing events such as the loss of a loved one or coping with a new diagnosis. I am a skilled facilitator and mentor, specializing in organizational development, mentoring, and coaching leaders of Civil Society Organizations and Social Work students. Additionally, I have significantly contributed to developing the social work profession within the Deaf Community by training the first Deaf Social Auxiliary Workers in South Africa. Furthermore, I possess managerial skills that have enabled me to lead teams of professionals and semi-professionals in Ekurhuleni, particularly in the fields of HIV and TB. I am passionate about working with people from disadvantaged communities, ensuring equitable access to resources across all community spheres. I consider myself a creative individual, continuously seeking innovative approaches and interventions to meet clients' needs effectively.
