This serves as my humble application and confirmation of availability for any post as advertised that may suit my career aspirations.I believe that my professional and technical knowledge in understanding, town and regional planning legislation and technical knowledge of applicable planning software systems makes me a suitable candidate.My two years of Town Planning practice and experience, has been at operations and support to Professional/ Technical Town and Regional Planners in executing the following functions:Conducting site visits.Preparing pre-acquisition feasibility reports to determine viability of land identified for the development of sustainable integrated human settlements.Compiling Project Initiation Documents for land acquisition funding to be submitted to the Provincial Department of Human Settlements.Conducting property verifications in relation to land availability utilizing GIS for planning and development. Creating layout plans for the establishment of TRA’s utilizing AutoCad.Assisting with providing technical records and verification of Spatial Data in relation to availability of Bulk Service infrastructure, sewer, electricity and water capacity and location.And attending community engagement meetings, to assist with the recording of minutes and other administrative duties.Assisting with consolidating all project data and assisting with developing monthly progress reports for land acquisition projects.And assessing layout plans and building plans in terms of appropriate land use management applications (land use departure/ consolidations etc.).I am an assertive and highly motivated individual with good communication and report writing skills.
