I was part of Wits Mining Engineering School council which caters for student's needs in the school of mining. I served as an events manager- organizing fundraising events, book drives, peer-to-peer mentor-ship programs and food drives. I was also was responsible for organizing entertainment that caters the students needs. Worked during vac under AEL mining services as their bursar. I did mining engineering related work by going to site to audit blasts, fragmentation and cup samples for explosives. I also did office related work which consists of filing and data analysis. I obtained underground blasting certificate with AEL. I served as house committee for a Wits residence called Knockando. My position was a media and communication officer, where i was responsible for marketing ,advertising and sending communications through the residence
