Hi, I have 8+ years experience in Electrical and instrumentation. I am willing to learn more about my trade. I have worked closely with design engineers from the design and implementation stage to the final handover process. I have key knowledge of troubleshooting and faultfinding techniques of many different processes. I have been placed in many situations of which have always come out on top. I have my Btech Degree in light current and Trade tests in both Electrical and instrumentation fields. I have worked in many industries and am very familiar with the OHS ACT, First Aid, Risk assessments and all safety rules and regulations.I have worked in EX environments and understand and implemented the concept of barriers, bonding,screening, pure earth,etc. I have also trained to drive to different sites to complete jobs and return to the office with jobs completed successfully. I have been trained to also work in an industrial environment to perform daily checks and routines to ensure that all plant and equipment is functioning correctly and always ready for operation. I have been apart of projects in the installation stage of cabling to glanding, terminating and fully punching all wiring.I have performed cold commissioning as a safety feature to prevent equipment damage at the testing stage.Thereafter coupled the field instrumentation and various devices to tested the plant online. I have completely designed and implemented relay panels,junction boxes, solenoid boxes in the field to the marshalling cabinets. Troubleshooting and faultfinding on all I/O between the PLC's, SCADA , DCS to the field devices. I have worked in Sapref, Mondi, Engen, Sappi, Waste water treatment works, Tongaat huletts,Illovo sugar and many major industries to in stall valve actuators and field instruments.
