I hold a BSc degree in Biochemistry from the prestigious institution of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria under the supervision of Dr Olamiposi Omotuyi. A four-year study program of which I graduated with a 4.2/5.0 (second class upper division) required me to take numerous courses such as molecular biology, nutritional biochemistry, industrial biochemistry, experimental biochemistry, clinical biochemistry, Chemistry, among others. In my Bsc thesis titled “Homo Sapien Bcr-Abl-Interacting Scaffolds from Bryophyllum Pinnatum And Cantharanthus Roseus: Computational Studies”, I conducted an in silico phytochemical research as pertained to drug discovery involving bioinformatics, learnt virtual high throughput screening, molecular docking and validation analysis of docking results, analyzed data to review enhance and promote sustainable development solutions towards data problems. Also, I worked with team members to solve collective challenges and as such develop critical reasoning skills. My final year project work laid the foundation for my masters’ degree program in the area of computational biology. I hold a masters’ degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry which I completed in one and half years from the department of Health Sciences in the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa under the supervision of Professor Mahmoud Soliman with thesis title: “In-silico investigation of CREB-binding protein on Castration-Resistant Prostrate cancer: Insight from Molecular Dynamic Simulations and Computer Aided Drug Discovery”. I am also an author of the book "I AM NOT ASHAMED TO BE CALLED WOMAN". A poetry book redefining the concept of womanhood and revealing the power within. I have/am: 1. Expertise in research writing and have published three papers of which I am first author 2. Excellent analytical skills in organic chemistry (studied biochemistry in my BSc degree) 3. Self-motivated and 100% interested in drug delivery research 4. Knowledge of cell culture, biological and in vitro studies 5. A good lab maintenance skills 6. A good writing skills and data presentation skill 7. A master’s degree in medical science with a cumulative score of 83% (summa cum laude) 8. Knowledge in In silico experiment such as needed in docking and MD simulations 9. A great inter-relational skills and effective communication skills 10. Willing to collaborate in achieving the team’s research goal.
