I am a qualified accountant, aspiring fashion stylist, qualified makeup and hair artist who recently started her own business in the beauty industry. After spending just over a decade in the accounting industry, I took my passion for fashion, design, and art and made the bold decision to change my career path. My experience working on a cruise ship was the first step towards a new career. It assisted in developing my people and creativity skills. It also demanded the ability to work long hours and to thrive under pressure. This further fuelled my desire to work in an industry where I can combine my extensive financial management knowledge with my passion for fashion, work on a more personal level with people and where work tasks are varied and challenging, rather than monotonous. My attention to detail and ability to recognise potential in others were the drive behind the decision to finally become a fashion stylist. I recently completed a part time fashion design course through Elizabeth Galloway, which I believe has broadened my understanding of art, design, and innovation. My passion for fashion, working with people and taking on new challenges is the reason why I am seeking a job in the field of a fashion stylist.
