My name is Randy Khoele. I obtained my Undergraduate Degree in Architecture from the University of Pretoria in 2017. I have worked for an architectural firm, and a construction company as a Draughtsman and a Procurement Coordinator from 2017 - mid 2019. From 2019 to present day, my recent work experience is with a procurement company dealing in sales and commodity supply to developers in the construction industry; scope of services from basic building material to civil works. I have minimum two years experience in the procurement field and 4 years overall in construction. My career transition went from architecture to procurement in construction due to my interest in the construction industry as a whole; I am interested in growing my knowledge technically as well as practically in this field of work. The practical knowledge gained in the procurement and sales of building materials has enhanced my knowledge on the technical use and application of items, services and commodities required in a project from site preparation to practical completion. My duties included but were not exclusive to: office management, procurement of commodities by sourcing new products and suppliers, price negotiation, extracting information from drawings and BoQs for tender submission, handling of accounts, customer service and query facilitation and performing office support duties. My frame of reference is diverse and I am adaptable to various work environments and requirements. My experience in the architectural and procurement/ supply chain fields have given me niche set of a skills; which I deem valuable to any team and/ or company I may have the pleasure to join.
