I have quite a diverse background. I studied at the University of Stellenbosch where I received a B.Sc. majoring in Zoology and Botany. I am well read in the medical field as it has always been a keen interest for me. I am an avid reader, with an interest in history (my youngest daughter is busy with post-graduate studies in history), medicine, biology, law (my eldest daughter is a lawyer), firearms and security. After ten years teaching Biology and Science at high school level, seven years in parallel medium class situations, I studied Theology and qualified as a minister. I served in an international ministry, heading up the Afrikaans side of the ministry, being very involved in translating the ministries publications. I served as a translator as well as the editor of all the Afrikaans books, which now exceeds 100 publications. I have been responsible for formatting and have extensive knowledge of InDesign and have also used Illustrator and Photoshop for the editing of graphics in our publications. I have also worked for other publishers after hours, doing extensive editing of both Afrikaans and English publications. I have a passion for translation and extensive experience in the field.of translation.
My experience working with Sam has been very positive. He promptly replied, he was friendly and he helped me with my editing and proofread my document. I will definitely use his services again in the future.
