I have been in a contract of 3months with broadreach which ended this April as a Community Case Manager Coordinator at Gingindlovu clinic under King Cetshwayo District Municipality, I have been doing Hiv/Aids pre and post test Counseling , index tracing , patients with Unsuppressed Viral Load telephonic and Physical tracing , defaulted counseling and conducting quick test and distribution of self service test kit and also been going out to target male dominant places like construction sites , farms and taxi ranks to encourage males to come to clinics to test and inform about preventive measures like PREP and ART programs and self test kit ,which I believe same method could be applied to sex workers and it have been proven to be effective and also condoms demonstration of females and males condoms . Last year I have been in FF.ribbeiro clinic in Tshwane as a Social Work covid 19 counselor which ended this February, I have been Counseling patients who are reluctant to take vaccine , Clarifying the important of vaccine, tackling all conspiracy theories surrounding vaccine , assisting with a registration of first time patients, and assisting with obtainance of vaccination certificates and vouchers offered to first time vaccinators . In 2020 I have been working for iec as a Municipal Outreach Coordinator for local government elections, doing Community Mobilization , Encouraging community about importance of voter participation, Registration of first time voters using vmds machines and conducting trainings or workshops to POs and DPOs that will be based on voting stations on election day and Registration weekends. Doing spreadsheet of ballot paper allocation to voting stations , working with stakeholders like health , home affairs and education to ask for a slot to Address their staff workers to encourage them to voter or change their voting addresses so I am well familiar with working with community.
