I was awarded “the best new comer for this role” I worked 6 months in a digital sales position, where I was introduced to search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing, ad-space budgeting and customer relationship management. I found delight and excitement in managing digital marketing strategies across all social pages (Website, Instagram, Facebook, Utube, SEO and SEM) I understood my role in understanding technology how things work, and be ahead of trends as this contributes to a firm’s competitive advantage. This was real time marketing experience, having to utilise different strategies and generation marketing to satisfy customer’s needs I worked 3years in a sales operations position (FMCG), this is where I understood the fundamentals of brand development positioning and implementation of the 5P strategy and growth strategies. I worked with a field team and utilised Microsoft office and Google suite to create reports and presentation. Very involved in managing business measurements ( KPIs) on a daily bases and delivering on business objectives. I excelled in analysing competitor activity and gaining shopper insights this helped with creating promotional activities for new product launches, managing distribution gaps and listing of new products, this came with understanding business communication. Customer relationships management skills were the core of this role and constantly reviewing promotional activities strategies. I was awarded with a ‘Top performer award and Top sales award in this role’. I look to work in Operations/ Trade marketing, brand management, marketing role and key accounts role as this is my foundation and passion, I think like a customer and understand communication is critical to obtaining alignment. I believe in collaborating with team members to achieve the business vision and mission. I understand that every firm’s number one goal is to generate revenue.
