I obtained a BCom Financial Accounting degree and are currently doing my SAIPA articles at Moore Stephens WK Incorporated, Humansdorp. I am currently studying a Postgraduate diploma in Management Accounting part time with the goal of obtaining a CIMA qualification. The first 18 months of my traineeship I worked at LEAD Financial Strategists, Port Elizabeth. During the 3 years of traineeship, especially because I worked with two different accounting firms, I have gained a lot of experience in a variety of accounting divisions using different accounting programmes. I have gained experience in the full bookkeeping function, debtors, creditors, VAT reconciliations and submissions and I have calculated and submitted employee taxes monthly. I have gained extensive skills in word, excel, outlook, pastel, CaseWare working papers and CaseWare time. I feel I am well suited for the position because I am equipped with all the necessary skills required. I am hard working and eager to learn new things. I am open to change and like new challenges. I adjust to a new environment quickly, thus will be able to act as a liaison between the different divisions.
