I have 25 years’ experience in construction management, 10 years as construction manager and 11 years in project management, registered with SACPCMP as Pr CM. As project manager my KPA’s was to negotiate, plan, resource, execute and control projects to meet objectives and targets. Financial planning, procurement, contracts administration, subcontractor management and engaging with stakeholders formed part of my responsibilities. Within the procurement space, I have written procurement strategies aligned to contracts and presented to committees for the appointment of suppliers and subcontractors. At Eskom Rotek Industries, we practiced corporate governance and an ethical code of business. I am also very proficient with HSE and Quality requirements, CIDB and SANS standards. Finally, I have also complied with supplier development and localization as well as community social investments on projects completed. In terms of the Job specifications: 1) I have a National Diploma in Civil Engineering as well as a certificate through UNISA in Project Management. 2) Planned many projects using CCS and Microsoft Project Tools and at ERI I worked on the SAP System. 3) I have a portfolio of projects completed for Eskom ranging from a couple of thousand Rands, up to 810 million in value. 4) Projects under my management exceeded planned profits on various projects. 5) I am a proven team player and will assist/provide support where required.
