I’ve been in the TV and content creation space over the last 10 years, starting as a production assistant and now I’m a line producer and digital content creator/marketer. I made the shift to working more in the digital space (with the current company I work in) given the way we now consume content. My experience as a Line Producer has exposed me to working with clients on the frontline, creating treatments, developing creatives and working budgets all the way through to delivery and broadcast. Additionally hiring and working with a carefully selected and qualified team is something I’ve had to do to ensure a great product at the end of the day for all of my bigger budget projects. The skills I’ve developed (which are also transferable skills) from this position include budgeting, team managing, organizing skills, problem-solving, communication, and administrative and analytical skills. I have great research skills as well as I want to make sure clients are satisfied and their project is represented to the fullest (and accurately). I think the land of media and now digital is fun and so versatile and there is such a great need for fun, interesting and duration varying content. I honestly don’t think there can ever be too much content. Digital projects I’ve worked on to date are with the South African brand Mecer. I shot and produced the Podcast for them. I managed some of their social platforms and ran creative competitions that saw consumers win laptops. I also designed their stories and posts. Looking forward to hearing from you,
