I have an MSc in Applied Science (Chem Eng) from The University of Cape Town and a BSc Honours in Applied Science (chemistry) from National University of Science and Technology. I have ten (10) years experience as a senior environmental consultant. My skill set includes, project management of soil and groundwater contamination investigation projects, soil and groundwater sampling for various chemicals of concern, management of contaminated land, remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, compliance monitoring, stakeholder, client and government authority liaisons, and development of phase 1 and phase 11 proposals. My skills also include scientific data collection analysis and report writing as well as developing health and safety plans for multi-disciplinary projects. The projects include vapour intrusion investigations, intrusive soil and groundwater investigations, and underground storage tank (UST) removals. I have also managed soil and groundwater EIA projects for oil and gas clients within South Africa.
