I am an Executive Creative Director with a speciality in African work. Having worked on 4 continents, in a number of countries, but especially in a number of African countries over the past 17 years, I bring a wealth of experience of dealing with major blue chip clients, at blue chip agency groups. We built Celtel into Africas' favourite brand across 12 countries in Africa (according to 'Africa Rising’) a book written about the rise of consumersim across the continent. I was the ECD and ultimately GM of what was ZK Advertising - a TBWA associate for over 5 years. I have worked with McCann to save the Coca-cola business in Nigeria, then launching the Share a Coke campaign there several years later, which turned the fortunes of the brand right around. I have worked in Kenya on Kenya Power (the Eskom of Kenya) as well as Safaricom (Vodacom in Kenya). Their Mpesa finacial product is now emulated in various countries around the word. I worked on launching it in Mozambique. I spent some time in Zambia running TBWA’s offering, looking after the agency’s creative offering, as well as Managing the agency. We pitched and won Total, as well as looking after Stanbic, Zambia Sugar and other business. As well as doing the same in Botswana, looking after Barclays Bank, DSTV and Debswana Mining, we also won several other pieces of business.
