I am a highly experienced full stack web application lead engineer having worked in information technology and software engineer for almost 20 years, in an assortment of technologies including Node.js, React, React-Native, Python and AWS, as well as Java and Apex-PL/SQL. I have and Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree. I started Belts and Braces in 2015, providing consulting services and software in the retail space; I was able to later take on more specialist products in custom development. I also started a smart home automation business with two other shareholders, in 2017, with the intention to provide tailored IoT solutions to individuals. To run both businesses, I took advantage of new innovations in technology such as outsourced warehousing and cloud-based architecture. I am currently working as a Technical Lead on a BNPL platform. I am expanding my interest in cloud engineering; driving the overall product architecture and direction of development.
