I was an Ethical & Surgical Buyer on the Netcare contract for 10 years (January 2010 to December 2019). Built up effective and meaningful relationships with the Pharmacy / Procurement Managers within the Netcare and Pharmacross Hospitals as well as all Netcare Head office stakeholders. Have always maintained high levels of efficiencies within the Procurement division with focus on being fully committed to the challenging goals set for the effective control of correct stock levels. Am committed to align resources and organization within my own area of responsibility to achieve objectives with continuous improvement and innovation. This being in conjunction with the Customer Service and Receiving Departments. I believe my main strengths are remaining totally focused on identifying and meeting customer requirements by maintaining correct stock levels, and thereby assisting Pharmacies in obtaining highest levels of competency and compliance. Have also built up solid relationships with all Suppliers. (Currently responsible for 47 of the 92 suppliers at Omni Ethicals). Monthly and/or bi-monthly meetings with the Supplier KAM’s in order to maintain high levels of efficiencies on stocks, eg. Back orders, supplier out of stocks, short dated stock, stock protection etc. Control of short dated stock and stock protection on such items. Responsible for all “buy-in’s” pre SEP price increases.
