Change Management/Business Implementation in my career started at Eskom in 1993 already where major changes were made on processes and leadership. The normal structures were changed into a team format with a primary and secondary plant team with a Leader that was responsible for all aspects of Budgets, Projects, Quality, daily tasks. I headed up the Primary Plant to ensure all projects, maintenance and quality was integrated into the SAP system and also reducing the risk. Re- structure the maintenance teams to be more productive by getting the planning schedules as accurate as possible. At Gharis Quality Air systems we always added new product lines such as HVAC Chiller Units for Industrial use at Companies like Johnson Tiles. These systems needed to be incorporated into business processes, budget, planning schedules and SAP. Teams needed to be trained and tested. Afrox/Linde, I had the responsibilities of managing the sales force and being part of the SAP implementation. All the sales processes, pricing schedules of 6900 line items was to be transferred into the system by changing the format but also ensuring the process was feasible and valid to the customer and internal people by incorporating all contracts into a usable methodology. Branding on system and with customers was also incorporated. All Branch systems were analyzed and the processes change to fit system criteria’s. We also tried to keep this as human friendly as possible and practical. GE I needed to setup operations for SSA completely, integrating the Power Conversion Business Units into existing systems in SA GE or use stand-alone systems in some cases to be able to sell and invoice. I utilized the existing financial systems to set up all the Entities in Africa Countries where business was to be concluded. Integration of purchasing systems into the existing work flows was required to ensure ‎all daily tasks could be achieved. Logistics systems were incorporated with UK, Europe to get stock, and this was again changed to fit SA or the Country of destination. All processes was developed and implemented for the Sales, Service and Warehouse arenas for various SSA Countries. At Agrinet I was hired to grow and implement this Power Unit into Embrace Software System and in SSA Markets. We were more a project oriented business‎ and I needed to group parts on the logistics and delivery schedules to be delivered to the assemblers on one order. For this a lot of processes was changed and implemented within embrace where possible and other manual task was added to my team’s daily tasks. I also derived a strategy to import other products into the existing portfolio with better margins. This was imported from China. All the negotiations and supply agreement matters was done. I also launched a retail line in this time called “PowerMaster” which are solely sold by Agrinet in SA. At RusselSmith Group Nigeria, I walked into a divisional change which I needed to rewrite all processes according to ISO9001:2008 and we were integrating this into the Sage Software System.
