I am a qualified Mechanical Engineer (graduated at North-West University), currently working as a Project Manager/Water Engineer at BBE Energy (PTY) Ltd. I am focused on providing high-quality water design solutions with reduced manufacturing costs. I always put my clients' and project end-users' needs first, to ensure that mysolutions are practical, usable and economically viable. I obtained valuable engineering experience while completing my vacation training at Eskom and NECSA where my responsibilities included vibration monitoring on backup diesel generators, assisting in the planning of maintenance shutdown and creating and updating Periodic Test Procedures database. I also performed a study on the investigation into radiation and conduction heat transfer in a packed pebble bed with cubic packing structure, for my final year project. During my 2 years as Eskom employee, I obtained exposure to various maintenance issues. My roles and responsibilities as Milling Plant System Engineer (Arnot Power Station) included plant modifications and projects, compiling scope of works for maintenance procedures, investigations on plant and component failures, tracing maintenance deviations, providing maintenance and technical advice, inspecting equipment and reporting defects as well as compiling and reviewing of maintenance procedures, work packages and work instructions.
