I am a Senior Internal Audit Manager located in Johannesburg, South Africa. I started by career as a big four audit firm I am a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). I have completed the Ethics Officer Certification (offered by The Ethics Institute) in 2017 and also completed a Certification in Control Self-Assessment (from the IIA) in 2008. My career started as an internal audit trainee at KPMG in 2007, with main focus on the mining industry which continued up to my promotion to manager in September 2011. Thereafter I worked as a manager on various projects and between August 2013 and August 2015 I formed part of a multi-disciplinary team servicing a major public sector client in the transport industry, mainly focusing on the Human Capital stream. In August 2015 I joined Barloworld Limited as an Internal Audit Manager, with focus on the Automotive and Logistics divisions in the business and was promoted to Senior Internal Audit Manager in 2018.
