My name is Bonga Nhlakanipho Magubane. I am from Kwa-Zulu Natal’s capital city, Pietermaritzburg.I studied at Maritrzburg College where I matriculated with 7 distinctions. During my high school tenure, I was involved in co-curricular activities ranging from soccer, rugby, swimming and athletics to debating,Public Speaking and the Khanyisa tutoring program. I am currently furthering my studies at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. It is here where I joined an organization called Enactus UKZN. This is an international non-profit organization which aims to empower disadvantaged communities through entrepreneurship based projects, that also tackle the social and environmental problems faced in those areas. One of the major highlights during my Enactus career was presenting one of projects at the 2015 MTN Special Competition, where we finished in first place. This experience greatly enhanced my public speaking and presentation abilities. Furthermore, I was the project manager of one of our projects named Iziko Stove. In this role, I learned the value of planning, co-ordinating, implementing and overseeing a project from the concept phase. My duties also included supervising over the marketing strategies and business models for our product. After that role, I was appointed as the Head of Finance. Here I was responsible for the entire teams finances. My role encompassed preparing all financial reports for the team and for external stakeholders. I was also in charge of securing funding for the team by compiling and sending funding proposals. I am an energetic young man who is very self-motivated. I believe in working hard and producing quality work consistently
