In 2008, I completed my B Com Degree, majoring in Operational Research, at the University of Stellenbosch. Over the past 15 years, I have gained valuable expertise in various industries, including Retail, Fashion, FMCG, Food & Beverage, Production, and Tech. Throughout my career, I have worked across different departments such as Planning, IT, and Marketing, assuming roles as a Planner, Business Analyst, BI Analyst, and Sales and Marketing Analyst. My extensive industry experience has given me a deep understanding of analytical work, specifically in products, pricing, revenue and budget management, sales, marketing, forecasting, and HR data. Each of these areas had specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and measures that required tracking and visualization. I possess the skills to effectively analyze complex datasets, identify trends, make informed decisions, and drive positive business outcomes. In addition, I have actively contributed to system maintenance and continuous improvements in my previous roles. This involved working with tools like HubSpot and Salesforce, where I ensured data quality, integrated information from diverse sources, and promptly resolved any technical issues or bugs. I am dedicated to providing the accuracy, reliability, and accessibility of data for analysis. Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to be part of cloud migration projects, expanding my skill set and contributing to the successful implementation of new systems. I have also previously used data processing tools to extract and transform our third-party data sources and then used reverse ETL to enrich these third-party tools. Regarding Power BI, I also have experience in extracting, transforming, and loading data into dataflows.
