Professional Synopsis: I started employment as either a Girl Friday/Admin Clerk/Bookkeeper performing duties such as general admin, debtors, creditors, bookkeeping, petty cash, wages/salaries/rep’s commissions, monthly returns (WCA, UIF, PAYE), etc. where I acquired 10+ years experience before being promoted to Exports Sales and Dispatch Coordinator. This was a positive career change into Exports/Imports/Logistics industry where I acquired 19+ years experience. As Logistics Administrator at GSK (GlaxoSmithKline SA Pty Ltd), a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Epping (CPT), I interfaced between all planners/buyers and suppliers of materials/goods procured to ensure dispatching against orders placed, and with Forwarding & Clearing agents that manages the logistical aspects for transportation via land; sea & air to ensure arrival on site in CPT and JHB. I managed all admin functions relating to imports, exports & insurance claims. During my employment as Debtors Clerk, I performed all tasks related to credit control and investigation/tracing of delinquent debtors to present a case to management for a decision to hand over or write off. Within my current role as Planning Administrator, I am responsible for monitoring stock levels, planning and ordering site consumables, tracking orders until delivery, liasing with user departments regarding stock requirements, recording and distributing meeting minutes, general administrative duties and resolving queries.
