In anticipation of completing my bachelor of business science (Hons) degree in 2019, I am hoping to become a valuable member of a sales, marketing or business development team. My desire is to both, contribute as well as gain the necessary skills in marketing and management. I enjoy working with people and have had the privilege to travel and interact with various individuals and cultures which taught me the essence of communication and networking. I have previously worked as a team representative manager for the men's soccer team at Monash South Africa. Throughout my experience, I have acquired some transferable skills that I can apply within a business environment, these skills include: • Teamwork: ability to interact with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures in order to deliver on goals as a contributing member of a team. • Commitment/Multitasking: Compiling reports on each game that was played while maintaining good grades and balancing priorities • Professional Communication: Behaving professionally towards team members and being team orientated when dealing with various matters. I have also recently been employed as a sales consultant at Sharemont Investments. The primary duties of the job entails selling the stock market college course prospective clients. The job is more outbound sales based and requires me to acquire new customers on a daily basis while achieving targets every month. I am keen to advance my marketing skills through practical work experience and hope to discuss my application with you further.
