I am a strong Information Technology professional with more than 30 years’ experience in a wide range of Information Technologies, either as a Customer or part of a Service providers providing ESM solutions, most of it around IT Operations (IT OPS), Enterprise System Management (ESM), IT Service Management (ITSM) and a bit of Development. I have the knowledge and skills of having worked with a wide range of technologies, processes and teams and thus understand what is required to deliver a superior service to companies and clients by finding the best and most cost effective solution according to their business requirements. What drives me and gets me excited is building software based solutions not just in my current areas of expertise, but any software based solutions. The diversity of the field gets me excited because I get to work with different people, skills and technologies. It allows me to work from Conceptualization to Implementation to Ongoing Support and Improvements. Following on that is the Service Delivery side, where you get to work with your customers on improving what you have implemented and expanding on it. I have the ability to solve complex system problems in a multi-vendor, multi customer environment with substantial and relevant on-the-job work experience. I am proactive, focused on detail and accuracy with a strong sense of follow-through, no problem is ever too big. I have the skills in researching, evaluating, planning, designing, architecting, implementing, maintaining and reviewing a wide variety of solutions. I enjoy working alone, as part of a team or leading a team to deliver on achievable goals. I was previously described on an evaluation as a Thinker, Maker and Doer, as well as a Performer. I would add to that a Self-Driven Perfectionist. To balance out my work life, I love spending time with my family and doing work with my hands or trying out my creativity by means of photography.
