Dr Makhosandile Kwaza is a CAE at Amathole District Municipality with vast experience in the internal auditing field. He has served in Eastern Cape Regional Committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors from 2011 to 2014 and during the last two year of this period he served as Regional Governor. He also served in the Audit Committees of the various municipalities and also as Board of Trustee’s member. Makhosandile has presented numerous papers in local and international conferences. He is also a newspaper columnist and a social commentator having written lots of articles to various newspapers regarding his views on governance. Amongst other qualifications, he graduated a Doctoral Degree in Administration from the University of Fort Hare in September 2017. His thesis examined the utilisation of the Auditor – General’s reports in improving audit outcome at selected municipalities within Amathole District Municipality.
