As a Commercial and Financial Business Manager I have vast experience in industries such as Retail, FMCG, Financial, Telecommunications and IT business environments. I started my career in the Wooltru Group as an internal auditor and went onto managing the National Finance and General Management portfolios in several retail organisations. I also spent time as an International Retail Director and Financial Director for a multi-national organisation and oversaw the start-up of retail stores in South Africa, Africa and the UK. After spending more than 30 years in the local and international corporate arena, I opened my own business, which enables me to utilise my knowledge and experience to provide broad based consultancy specializing in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, HR&IR, BEE audits , Company secretarial, Corporate governance and General Business management. I am the franchise business owner of The Tax Shop Accountants Century City, Cape Town, a business that offers a comprehensive list of services, including hands on approach to all your Accounting , Taxation (individuals and business), Bookkeeping, Financial Management , Payroll ,HR&IR , Business management, statutory & compliance requirements including Strategic and Risk Management. I am a member of the Institute of Business Advisors (IBASA), SA Business Accountants (SAIBA), SA Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT), SA Compliance Institute and serve on Boards of the HSFSA and Community Intervention Centres. My current and past studies include a B Com Law, Advanced Business Management, Financial Management and current Postgrad Tax Law. I am an experienced presenter, lecturer and facilitator and have lectured part-time at educational bodies and Business Schools.
