In my third year I interned at Delta international Design Studio where I was offered a position. After I finished my interior design course, I started working at Delta International design Studio, keeping my position for 4 years until the company closed, there after I went on to work for one of the owners, establishing a new company, ORC Architectural interior design studio where I worked for 4 years. I then fulfilled the role as creative head designer at a Dubai based company, the company mainly specializes in residential design and my main duties include, but are not limited to Project management of projects which includes managing client and their expectations, project execution and setup, Team Management- manage division and its team members, distribute tasked, monitor progress, time keeping, accuracy and efficiency. Presentations of design ideas in form of illustrations, images, mood boards, fabric and material selections and layouts are all prepared and creatively and professionally for presentation to the client. Sourcing - Subcontracts fabrication, installation, and arrangement of carpeting, fixtures, accessories, draperies, paint and wall coverings, art work, furniture, and related items are all selected in line with the required budget and expected finish. All selections are fully detailed and specified so as to assist with the procurement process, i then worked for Source Iba, who i assisted with the completion of Hilton Hotel Durban, when my contract was completed i required a permanent position at Peg Design as Senior Interior designer & Creative Director, unfortunately i have just been retrenched and is now in need of new employment.
