In my current role as Project Manager for Jendamark Automation, Port Elizabeth, I have received excellent exposure to a range of responsibilities, strengthening my analytical and organisational skills. My duties included performing project management, planning and risk management, financial reporting, design and programming review. With my experience as a Design & Control Systems Engineer, I am able to apply technical experience to my managerial role. In addition to liaising with Directors and senior management, I developed strong communication skills and the ability to be flexible when required. Consequently, I have solid written and verbal communication skills and a good understanding of effective communication for different audiences and purposes. Moreover, my strong work ethic and teamwork abilities were demonstrated while mentoring and training junior members of staff. In academic terms, I have completed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Honours) for Mechatronics. I have excellent knowledge of programming several brands of PLC, robots, vision sensors and motion drives. Additionally, I have extensive skills with Microsoft Office and Project.
