Although I have worked predominantly in the educational publishing industry, I have developed many skills in writing and working with a range of different texts. Throughout my career I have acquired the following skills: I have excellent communication skills. I am a strong leader. I have a good eye for detail. I have a strong command of the English language. I am dependable. I have extensive editing and project management experience (15 years). I am able to work within extremely tight timeframes. I have a good understanding of people and their needs in a working environment. I have acquired a wide range of knowledge on various topics and subjects. I have been a single parent for 14 years, which, in hindsight, has really developed my strength in character and determination to achieve great things. I am an outdoor, active, fun-loving and people-loving person. I find myself being constantly drawn to a situation or an environment where I feel challenged. I constantly strive to better myself and my skills. To end off, I am a keen learner, I always try my best and most importantly, I need to live a purpose-driven life.
