Draughting of structures for SANRAL, Department of Transport, Umgeni Water. Working on vehicular and pedestrian bridges. Draughting of reinforced and pre-cast box culverts,water retaining structures, water reticulation plants. Working with various cultural groups and various aspects of the project.Site supervision when pouring concrete, fixing reinforcement, inspection of existing buildings surrounding the site. Draughting of Bridge foundations, piers, decks, reinforcement of bridges, manhole detailing, drainage systems, temporary roadways and supporting structures. Working closely with sub major sub contractors such as Pilosio,Formscaff,Maccaferri. Attending weekly progress meetings ensuring a smooth flow of progress on site. Communicating with Engineers and contractors. Overcoming language barriers and interaction with expatriates. Experience in incrementally launched bridges as well as pre-stressing of decks.
