I am a recent graduate from the Tshwane University of Technology. I completed my national diploma in Information and Communications Technology specializing in Software Development. I have 2 years of experience in End User support, however I would like to express my interest in the developer role as I currently do not have any work experience in the development field. My technical at university subjects were C#, C++ and SQL as majors, however I have other self taught programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JavaScript. I am currently doing an I.T Solutions Advisory role at McKinsey & Company which is similar to the technician/support role, lapsing in November 2019. We work more with networking configurations namely: server room switches, routers, LAN ports, desk phones and printers as well as meeting room setups VC and audio conferencing; we also support software applications, mobile phone setups and troubleshooting. It has given me more technical skills and knowledge more especially with the latest solutions that I have exposed to and the pressure of constant demand from colleagues seeking for better, efficient and reliable solutions. Ideally this I.T Support/Technician or Advisory role has made me grow professionally and be more solution based. I am a creative person who enjoys learning and adapting new ways of doing things, developing, testing as well as modifying existing apps is my passion. I make a good team member and can work well by myself whenever needed. Pressure in the workplace is an ideal for learning and growth as it brings out the best in me and pushes me to improve in many aspects.
