Suren Sewchuran is an Associate Member of the South African Institute of Business Accountants and the current Financial Manager for a FMCG company based in Stellenbosch specialising in warehousing and distribution of food products for the Hospitality Industry. He was previously the CEO of Abalimi Bezekhaya and a member of this Non Profit Organisation’s board of directors. At this workshop of 103 participants from 67 countries around the world, he was chosen to deliver the closing address. Previously, Suren served in large corporate organisations such as Arthur Anderson, Woolworths, Daimler Chrysler and Visa Inc, in various levels of management. His focus on customers, innovation, improved operational efficiency, and execution led to significant changes in company processes and policy. He has always inspired teams to achieve organizational objectives. He parallels his own motto from someone that inspires him.
