An MSc Geography student in the Department of Geography, Geoinformatics and Meteorology at the University of Pretoria. His project is titled Crime Drop in South Africa which can be explained as applying the foundation completed in similar studies completed in industrialised countries and observing if South Africa follows international trends. His BSc (Hons) Geoinformatics project was titled Evaluating Various Applications and Tools for Monitoring and Visualising Urban Climate from Data Collected from Low-Cost Sensors, which can briefly be described as evaluating current systems which display the real-time data uploaded to a server. The visualisations will be customised in order to make collected data easier to view for professionals who do not have careers based in Information Technology.
