I am an ambitious female Electrical Engineer with more than 10 years’ working experience. I have studied and completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and currently studying Masters’ degree in Engineering Management. My work experience has been spread across Built Environment, Engineering Maintenance, Project Management, Facilities Management, Electronic Security and Fire Projects, Building Management Systems, Waste and Fresh Water Treatment, SCADA systems, Programming in C & C++language, and Automotive Industry. During this period, I have progressed from pure design to implantation of projects and management of multi-disciplinary teams across several projects with very strict timelines. In current portfolio, I am responsible for planning, scheduling and implementing Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects in excess of R120 million per annum. My medium to long-term goals are to expand my engineering skills within the project management and Engineering related sectors. My registration with strategic professional organisation (ECSA) ensures that I keep abreast with the relevant changes and innovations within the said professions. It is my desire to contribute professional articles in their respective publication to share my experience as my career progresses.
