All Hands on Waste is an initiative that was formed shortly after the Nelson Mandela Bay municipality won the award for the cleanest town in the metropolitan municipalities division. A total of R1 000 000 was awarded to the winning municipality and it was through this aid that the All Hands on Waste project was born. Their core mission is to educate communities on waste management and they work closely with the department of environmental affairs.
