Shoreline Beverages started as a bottling franchise in 2001 producing beverages under the Squeeza soft drink label. Having seen the potential of a Beverage Company, Mahmood Ismail acquired the company in 2004, relaunching it under the Cooee softdrink label. It aims to become a leader in the non- alcoholic beverage market. The brand sets high standards regarding product development – firmly believing that one should not give the consumer a product that one would not consume. The people-orientated approach is further emphasised by its Cooee Cares initiative established inhouse. This business unit focuses primarily on community upliftment and disaster management initiatives. Shoreline believes in providing its community with opportunities for growth, but does not stop there. Employees are provided with additional means of growth in the form of a bursary fund for employee dependents. Shoreline’s success is based on providing a product of superior quality, affordability and exceptional taste.

I've worked in major corporates within the FMCG industry and have never felt more involved, respected and appreciated as when I worked at Shoreline Sales and Distribution. Mr Ismail and the directors of the business have the formula for success entrenched in themselves in that the staff of the business is their greatest asset and that mindset will see them achieve the impossible. If I was given the honor of being a part if this family again I will gladly accept with much humility and gratitude.
