Charles Mast founded Woodbender in 1988, joined by his wife and his love for woodwork. Woodbender is synonymous for its supply of quality furniture and long term durability. They supply to Hotels, Homes, Restaurants and Offices within and around South Africa. A minimum of 20 people contribute to each product through a handcrafted process that preserves the integrity of the wood, allowing the furniture to last longer. Woodbender employed 48 permanent employees per station thus far, leaving space for temporary employees and trainees.
