Salary: £900 - 1 900 (R18 - 38 000) per month depending on experience
Location: Fully remote opportunity for individuals living in South Africa
Duration: Permanent

As the Account Manager for this global software development company, you will be ensuring their clients work runs smoothly and interface directly with their clients to champion customers’ needs internally, you will work with their Team Leaders to improve services and strategically grow their customer accounts. All of their employees are all home based workers, who work in virtual teams with their colleagues and customers.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, interfacing with external stakeholders daily.
• Develop customer accounts by identifying opportunities to grow partnerships.
• Represent the voice of the customer internally and provide input and feedback to teams.
• Collaborate with the Technical Team Leads to develop delivery processes suitable for your customers.
• Troubleshoot issues with customers’ relationships or delivery processes.
• Gauge customers’ levels of engagement and satisfaction with the company and proactively increase these, utilising the organisation's team to do so.
• When delivering on fixed scope, fixed fee projects, work with Technical Team Leads and finance team to ensure project margin is retained and manage the change request process with our customers
• Perform daily activities such as assisting in requirements gathering and non-technical customer requests.
• Write and perform monthly account reviews with the customer and weekly catch up calls with stakeholders
• Be proficient in working in an agile environment and have a good understanding of JIRA

Experience:
• Although we would like our Account Managers to have had experience in the field, it is not essential.
• We are looking for the right person to fit the role and the team.
• We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, an excellent team player and above all able to support and grow our customers in a positive and engaging way.

Additional information:
• The company was founded 8 years ago and has team member spread across three countries, including South Africa
• You will be entitled to free 2 hours per week. This is time for you to take off (fully paid) to improve you mental or physical health. You can work on a pet project, take exercise, visit family etc.
• This is a full time permanent position. There will be a three month initial trial period to ensure all parties are happy with the role and the fit. Following the initial 3 month period there will be an assessment to decide if the role has been successful. If it has the role will continue.
• You will receive 25 days paid Annual Leave per annum and sick pay as an added benefit.
