Actuarial Analyst/Assistant
Western Cape
Under general supervision, perform assignments of actuarial-related duties such as preparing, performing and analysing actuarial research and audits.
Collecting data from various databases and performing standard mathematical calculations.
• IFRS17 implementation, testing, peer review, documentation and dual reporting
• Embedded Value and Valuations model understanding, insights and assumption setting
• Support on reporting on financial metrics like profits, reserves, VNB, ROGEV and cashflows
• SC profit projection model construction, reporting and monitoring progress on strategic focus areas
• Good Communication Skills,
• Skilled in Excel and Prophet
• Experienced in modelling & testing model changes
• Ability to work under pressure
Qualification and Experience
Degree with 2 to 3 years related experience or qualified by experience.
